Tell us about yourself.
I am from Pulaski, Tennessee. I studied Journalism with a concentration in Advertising at the University of Memphis. I worked on the Marketing and Business Development team at Baker Donelson law firm from 2011 – 2018. My wife, Candace, is a recent graduate from the MBA-SBP program. She shared a lot of her class discussion topics and experiences and told me how much she loved the program, which played a big part in me wanting to join the program. My goal coming out of this program is to take the new knowledge and insight I have and use it to help the company I work with in the future so that they can successfully implement sustainable business practices that help the company, the community and the world.
What are you most looking forward to in the MBA-SBP program?
I am most looking forward to the great information and insight the program has to offer and learning how to apply it in my future career.
What could you give a 30-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation?
I could give a 30-minute presentation on event marketing with no preparation.
Where is the most interesting place you’ve been?
The most interesting place I’ve been is Iguazu Falls in Argentina.
What is the best way to start the day?
I think the best way to start the day is with giving thanks, taking in a bit of sunshine, turning on some music, and doing a few quick exercises to get the blood pumping.
Who inspires you to be better?
My family, friends and others with the same desire to become better inspire me to be better.
