If you haven’t heard the news, Duquesne’s MBA-Sustainable Business Practices was ranked #1 in the United States and #4 in the world in Corporate Knights’ Better World MBA . But what does this ranking mean for you?
The Better World MBA Ranking
Corporate Knights, a magazine focused on sustainable business, has published its annual Better World MBA ranking for 18 years. This ranking evaluates a variety of MBA programs on their commitment to sustainability. Participating programs are evaluated based on the integration of sustainability into core courses, sustainability-focused research, centers and institutes devoted to sustainable development, and faculty diversity.
Duquesne’s Sustainability Commitment
As one of the first 100 institutions in the world to endorse the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), Duquesne takes sustainability seriously. Sustainability is integral to the curriculum and consulting projects meaning that you will learn to apply the latest theories and models. Our cutting-edge program is made possible due to the research of faculty like Dr. Robert Sroufe. Dr. Sroufe’s prolific research in sustainable buildings made its mark on the recent multi-million dollar renovations to Rockwell Hall. Finally, the Institute for Sustainable Business Innovation connects corporate partners, faculty expertise, and student leadership – you will learn from and work with the best.
An MBA that Makes a Difference
Our #1 ranking by Corporate Knights is an affirmation of Duquesne’s work to build a transformative MBA program. If you’re looking for an MBA program that encompasses the traditional foundation courses, while providing you with the tools necessary to consider an integrated bottom line addressing financial, social, and global challenges, the MBA-Sustainable Business Practices may be a great fit for you.
