Student Spotlight: Maggie Cunningham

Tell us about yourself.

I am from the completely other side of Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia called Garnet Valley. I came to Duquesne by way of rowing and was on the women’s crew team during my undergraduate at Duquesne. I have a varied background of work experiences from helping with the Peace Corps, Duquesne Athletics, to working at Amazon. As a graduate of Duquesne, I completed my undergrad studies in Marketing and Communications and am excited to continue my graduate work in the MBA-SBP program. During my undergrad studies, I realized the positive impact business sustainability has on a community and the environment. My goal after completing this program is to utilize the knowledge, skills, and experiences I have obtained to work with companies, helping them understand and analyze their ethical impact and better their sustainability practices.
