Tell us about yourself.
I come from China, and I obtained my college degree in Unites States. This is my fourth year studying and living here. I am very excited to have the opportunity to further my study in the United States. I finished my undergraduate studies at Duquesne University, and I really liked the studying environment of here.
Personally, I believe sustainability in business development is key to ensure the ongoing success of a corporation and our society. Since more and more sustainable issues are emerging business, it is a good opportunity get involved at this point in my life. My career goal is to become a problem solver who is not only refined in business management, but also in promoting business sustainability. Using the professional and sufficient knowledge in my future career will help me build stronger relationships with people from different cultural backgrounds and also give more value to my community.
What is one of your favorite things to do in Pittsburgh?
As an international student, the most exciting thing to do is explore different cultures. I like to try out different restaurants in Pittsburgh and talk to the local people to feel the real sense of American culture.
What are you most looking forward to in the MBA-SBP program?
I look forward to studying with people who have different perspectives and learn about their experiences and insight. I also look forward to communicating with different professors that will help me expand my vision and observe this world in a new way.
Where is the most interesting place you’ve been?
The most interesting place I have been is Maldives. It is a very beautiful country and the people are very friendly. You can enjoy the most clear and beautiful beaches in the world and I really enjoyed the days that I spent with my family there.
What is the best way to start the day?
I think the best way to start the day is to open your window and let the sunshine in. Planning enough time for yourself to eat breakfast and take a shower.
Where would you spend all of your time if you could?
If I could spend all my time without thinking about any other consequences, I would love to travel all around the world with my family.
