Student Spotlight: Bijoy Ghosh

Tell us about yourself.

I was born in Philadelphia but spent most of my life in northeastern Pennsylvania; most recently I lived in a city called Dallas very close to Scranton. I completed my undergraduate at Duquesne in Fall 2016 with a major in analytics and a minor in French. My previous work experience includes an internship for a US Congressman, coaching young children in tennis, and a volunteer work teaching underprivileged children with Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity in Kolkata, India.

I hope to have a career in the technology, automotive, or entertainment (specifically music) sectors, and I believe that this program will help me and whomever I work for, to embed more sustainable and profitable practices into their existing corporate culture and operations. Later, I hope to start my own company in one of those three fields.
